Eventually the suction cup would let loose and the whole thing would fall out, though thankfully that was usually not while driving

I've seen other people struggle with suction cup and air vent phone holders.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas to replace a suction cup holder that was ruining her dash

I really love this, and love that it is neither permanent nor does it leave an ugly/annoying suction cup mark on your windshield.
