Not only are two file boxes and two lids broken, and the black latches fell off as soon as I touched a box, the quality of the file boxes is such that you could not possibly entrust anything important to be stored in them, they would not stand up to being stacked.

These file boxes are sturdy, thick and probably waterproof, although I didn't test them.
