Irwin pliers are top quality in my books, for the price and quality, I have several other expensive plier brands in my tool chest and it seems that I am now always reaching for the Irwin pliers
-
If I was still working, I would have bought another quality brand of plier (made in USA) and junked these
-
These are some nice little pliers
-
I really liked this pliers, but within 2 months 1/4" of the end snapped off while pulling on a cutter pin
-
I guess the other possibility is that Irwin purposely designed this plier with a gap? With single handed operation, say when trying to create a loop at the end of a 12 gauge Romex ground wire, the plier is very stiff and tends to get stuck open
-
Great pliers.

Got these to replace some nice older long nose pliers that had been left out in the rain (oops).

Decent needle nose pliers at a reasonable price

These pliers are difficult to use due to the small length of the handle.
-
These are nice pliers because they are made with enough precision that they close with the jaws actually parallel
-
These are good sturdy pliers.
-
Terrible quality can probably find better pliers at harbor freight at a fraction of the cost !

These pliers are excellent at what they were designed to do, although I would recommend ordering the 7 inch version since these were a bit small.
