I managed to get the Micro sim card adapter into a phone, however not only did the nano chip fall out before it could be secured into the phone, the micro adapter tore out the prongs in the phone's sim card slot in the process of being removed

Unlike other cheaper adapters that I tried, this one worked very well because of the way how the hole in the adapter is made, it's got a clear cover on it and you slip the sim card underneath it, therefore you don't have to worry about it slipping out and damaging the slot

I somehow thought that the adapters would securely hold the sim cards well but they appear to have a sticky, thin plastic film (the see through thing on them) designed to hold your sim card

Since sim cards come in (primarily two) three different sizes having adapters can be a life saver when you get a new device and don;t replace the sim.

After a bit of trying I finally got the adapter to go in without my sim falling out

Unfortunately the adapter doesn't work on my Lg G 3 smartphone

I had to resort to pulling out the adapter with tweezers, which warped and destroyed the adapter itself while pulling out the contact prongs in the sim card slot itself

Also, my nano-to-micro SIM adapter had some sticky, glue-like substance on it, which if left on might have caused connectivity issues with the SIM

Switched to Cricket and this was a lot better than their provided adapter.

Sim adapter is working great and has allowed me to go back to an older phone while my S8+ is being repaired.

When trying to remove this layer you will damage the adapter because it's made of the same plastic.
