This was a cheap way of getting all three of the office products that work really well on my machine.

iWork is a well constructed office suit which, while well laid out and aesthetically pleasing, misses the mark for professional level document and spreadsheet construction

However, transitions are not as great as Office 2013, but for Mac options they are the best choice!In the end this software is great and easy to use, I think if you are a real power user you will probably want both (MS Office and iWork), but for most users iWork will have that Mac feel and work really well.

Open office is free and more useful to me

They even port office documents like xls and doc, which works pretty good considering they aren't native to the application.

There is absolutely no reason to NOT buy pages, unless you are a die-hard fan of the problematic MS Office for Mac

Numbers, although adequate, lacks a few features compared with the gold standard "Office"

but I still believe that Microsoft Office is superior

They might not be quite as powerful as their Office counterparts, but for 99% of users, they should be more than enough

What more can yo say, it is a great office suite even at full retail, but at the price Amazon has it for it is a steal

The software itself is just as powerful as any Microsoft Office Suite and is much more user friendly

After being forced into taking a Microsoft Office 2010 class for college as a senior, I found the Mac equivalent (Office 2011) to be unstable and frustrating to use.

I already have Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, but wanted some of the features that are in the Mac preferred office software (mainly Keynote).
