This version of iWork just makes me happier with that decision.

This is the old version is the superior version to the new version.

The newer version does not support "facing pages" which is essential if you're laying out a book with right and left pages with different numbering

I love this Mac software and this version of Pages is the best

I don't use my 'Book for professional tasks, so this suite of three most used productivity software was just perfect at a just perfect price (new versions of Pages cost as much as this suite does to download from App Store, currently)

Installed iWork '09 then updated to the new version that Apple has available via the App Store

I had the 2007 version on another PC and much prefer it over 2008.

We self-publish books, and this version of iWork is the absolute easiest to use for formatting.

iWork is a great product and this is the best version, I love the quality of the provided templates

The newer version is stripped down and has lost significant features.

Numbers is a very lightweight version of excel and for the general user may work out just fine

Also had problems accessing the '09 version of Pages as the App Store automatically updated it to the latest (and by all accounts inferior) 2013 version.

The 5 yr old version is more robust

I bought this so that I will never lose this version in my Applications file

Was a little slow getting here (we live in the book-docks) but much better than the current free chopped down version of pages

The newer versions aren't as good

(Old Version) is great if you need it

I actually like this version rather than the newer one we now work with

the last version of iWork will work with a PPC-based Mac

Of course, Microsoft makes mac compatible versions of these applications but they are still more expensive than iWork

It's fun to use and is way way better than the new version which came with the "mavericks" update at Apple.

The new version of Pages (free for MAC users) is far inferior than the old 09 version

Just yesterday I loaded back Pages 09 on my Macbook Pro because the new free version was so much less useful
