    • One flaw I noticed was in Pages (Pages is like Word) there aren't as many options such as borders to make the document look nicer such as in Word
    • It is easy to convert to PDF or Word, Excel, or Powerpoint from the iWork '09 interface.
    • I've converted old Word and Excel documents to Pages and Numbers but haven't manipulated them enough to rate iWork programs any better or superior.

    • I needed a good compatible word processing program
    • Keynote makes it easy to produce high quality, professional presentations and Pages is a good word processor.
    • though it is not as robust as Word, it is easier to use and does all I need.
    • Someone working in Word 2003 might prefer changing to iPages rather than to Word 2007.If someone needed to produce HTML documents directly from an iPages wordprocessing document, iPages does not seem to have a way for doing that
    • Depending on what you need, you could like either Word or Pages better, I personally prefer pages because of all the templates
    • I recently moved to a Mac from windows and needed a good word processor as a significant part of my work involves writing.
    • The new Pages now easily exports a document in doc, txt or pdf format, and does a remarkably lifelike transformation of even highly complex Word documents, tables, lists, or legal briefs with a mere double-click or drag-and drop
    • I like keynote more than power point, but Word is better than pages
    • Part of my happiness is the ability to find a decent word processor.
    • One of my favorite features are the built in templates they are extremely useful much more useful then the Word ones
    • Robust word processor
    • All in all I like Pages a lot more then word
