Awesome headset for gaming and just listening to music

It's a really good headset for its price, but I had a problem with it

The headset has too much static to bare, also the mic randomly just cuts off

The good news for Ubuntu users is that the headset works well with Ubuntu 14.04.2 but in stereo mode, I have yet to find an option for setting it to surround 5.1 or 7.1., all the same though I am very pleased with this product and it is good to see that companies are at least finally making an effort to support Ubuntu/Linux

Without that, these headsets were infuriating with semi-constant [yet daily] disturbances in detection kick-on, and detection kick-off via my drivers

He is honest when id comes to criticizing electronics as he is in IT, but I have not heard any complaints about it!

I suspect these headphones do not have a flat frequency response as they have a sharpness in the upper mid range as well as in the bass, much like pop and electronic for which they are very clearly contoured

And i actually prefer using the mini usb cables provided than plugging the whole light into my usb port as with the knogg design

but they did work as they said

I also run at night and attach the white light to my belt, it provides enough light for safety as well as to illuminate the side walk as I run
