I'm giving it three stars because I bought this headset specifically so I could use it on skype and such along with it being a really good sounding headset, I'm not sure if it came defective or if happened during shipping but either way the mic worked great, except for every like 5ish minutes it would tweak out and have a burst of static that would resolve itself a minute or two later,
