The shoulder straps are heavily padded and comfortable - I wore it all day at our state fair with no pain!

Worked great for my senior year of high school, and all throughout summer (used it for sleepovers, camping, road trips, etc), but three days before my college classes started the left strap broke

Usually love JanSport, but this one's side mesh pocket ripped the first day

The hanging strap broke off on both sides the first day of school

The strap broke two days after I bought it

And the handle broke the day after I got it.

This is for my 8 year old son and he usually packs it full and definitely is not gentle with it and it still looks just as good as the day we got

1st day she uses it for 4th grade today and handle already broke

It’s held up very well to wear and tear, as well as being washed a few times

But this year, this is his 3rd one... they have to carry around all their things in 4th grade so this will keep his computer separated from everything else as well as keeping his school stuff organized
