Well the zipper ended up breaking.. we are only 2 weeks into school... gotta see how to go about returning and maybe looking at a different brand... sucks cause this backpack its great otherwise!

It came away at the seam near the top zipper after a week of use by junior high son

I recently purchased 2 backpacks from a company I was unfamiliar with, and both had awful zippers, so I went back to JanSport because I know the quality is there

The zippers are much more difficult to zip than Jansport's earlier backpacks.

The zippers are constantly getting jammed in the backpack fabric.

I'm sure that overhang of material is there to hide/protect the zippers, but if you're not always conscious of the way you zip this thing it will snag

I've been using it almost daily for several months and it still looks like new...most importantly the zippers still work like dream!
