They were very easy to pair with my phone (Google Pixel) and had very good sound quality without necessarily drowning out ambient noise

I don't hear much ambient noise when they are about 75% volume or higher.

I also couldn't get them loud enough to overcome ambient noise in gym.

It is hard to talk on the phone if there is wind / ambient noise
