This would be a 5 star review if Jaybird and/or amazon would honor the warranty to fix this, I hope a one off, defective unit.
-
I speculate that having those exposed power connectors on a supposedly sweatproof device is probably what killed the unit
-
I don't know if the unit was faulty or if after 10 minutes of trying to get the earphones charging module seated in the cradle, I was successful or not, but I never got the yellow light to stay on nor would they charge
-
but they obviously encountered so many failed units that they had to qualify the lifetime of the product as just 2 years
-
Next day, the unit is completely dead again.
-
I ordered a pair of Westone Bluetooth headphones and have my happy life back.-You will find many poor reviews concerning Jaybird X3 charging system.-They are replacing failed units with the same poor charging design units, OVER & OVER
-
I never get them wet (outside of my workout sweat) so I don't abuse them in any way and expect them to last but all 3 units have disappointed in reliability, especially the X3s
-
My first unit died in less than 3 months
-
Other online reviews don't match my experience, so it is possible I had a faulty unit.
-
Unfortunately, with this third warranty replacement for a new X3, Jaybird stated that they will no longer replace any future faulty units for me.
-
In addition, they require the use of a TINY proprietary charging unit
-
On those "cheap" units, you plug the micro USB directly into the device without a dock
-
Shame as I really liked the original bluebuds which never had a problem.
-
n’t lose anymore
-
took me less than 30 min t discover how it all works and charges, super user friendly application
-
n’t recommend to anyone.
