The sound quality was good enough playing piano music and jazz to turn a private room at a restaurant to a five star restaurant, I got praises from my dinner guests

I wouldn't recommend playing at a party with 50+ people, but more for a small bbq with a few people

I use them in the kitchen and things get messy, they have been grabbed with flour covered egg splattered hands and still work just as good as when I got them

It's still as great as when I got except for one issue that is a major turn off to suggesting this product, the battery life has gone down dramatically
