When used for music or phone calls, the sound quality on the JBL is very good (which you might want if you had an older car with no built-in way to connect to your phone).This JBL comes with a reversible charging cable, I wish the rest of the industry would catch up!On the downside, JBL may be one of the better companies, but their printed instructions for this unit are still inadequate
