The bass is great for the price...if you put in area that is more closed (like a corner of room or under cabinets in kitchen) the bass will bounce and sounds deeper.

The battery lasts me a couple days before needing to recharge and the bass and volume of the speaker are pretty good (although the charge 3 is louder) just remember not to push down on the bass or pour water on it just to watch it splash because it does ruin the bass over time as I have noticed from my friend's JBL speaker.

This gives a nice bass, not down in the 30’s but nice enough, that is more accurate than ported.

The only drawback is depending on the surface you put it on, and the bass in the song you're listening to, the speaker on the bottom will (at times) vibrate against the surface it's on making a clicking noise.

For those who care about the technical side, this speaker produces bass through a passive radiator as opposed to the more common port
