The sound is amazing, although it's only his second year, the difference between the student instrument and this is significant, and i believe will encourage him to follow his musical passion for many years to come

Kids are constantly carrying their instruments, in the case, on and off the bus, in and out of cars, walking through doorways, or walking next to other band students who are carrying their own cases, all the while smacking their instruments on everything that gets in the way
This is a great instrument but more than that, it comes with great customer service.
