we gave up and tossed this and purchased a better product somewhere else and have had no issues playing this game as a family

A super-nice feature of Chenga is that it allows the entire family to play the same game, without subjecting older members to silly baby games like Candy Land (which is nice, but gets old).

Having the wood "colored" tiles ended better for me anyway, as my friends and I play "Drunken Jenga" where we've written consequences on the bottom of each tile.

But why?And where's the plastic half cube that used to come with the set so you can easily straighten the tower
Jenga used to come with a plastic jig/template that allowed you to make a nice tight tower and thus play a fair game
Any family member old enough to understand the idea of trying not to knock down the tower is old enough to play, which usually means anyone over three.
always trying to remove one more peg without the tower falling ... had some pretty shaky towers ... lots of fun for all ages
Does not come with the nifty plastic tower to help you set the game up/straighten the blocks anymore.
