Having the wood "colored" tiles ended better for me anyway, as my friends and I play "Drunken Jenga" where we've written consequences on the bottom of each tile.

It's classic Jenga with a better more stable tower building tool verses the flimsy plastic one that broke after a few uses and abuses.
