It is a very good unit and I am happy with it.

The main reason I bought this is it was the least expensive unit with a headphone jack, which is the main reason I got it.

The volume wont blast you out of your seat, but the sound quality is clear and the unit is very portable

The unit sounds good, the only thing I found is the writing for the buttons are hard to read

Of course, this unit being reviewed will also work fine using batteries but they become expensive over time and add considerable weight to any boom box

This is a very nice unit for the beach or back yard .

Second unit failed immediately, but worked after flipping the select switch thru Off/CD/Radio.

The sound is pretty good for a cheap unit, but there is no treble / bass control that I could find.

The Jensen unit plays well with the (Magnavox) AC cord.
