My conclusion is that either the top left facing corner of the screen protector is raised and not laying flat, or the iPad has an imperfection in that corner.

It makes my iPad look a mess.

And I know these things work because I used a protector on my old ipad and when it was removed, it was scratched and chipped but my old ipad looked good as new.
