I jimmy-rigged it with a piece of duct tape and it's fine now, but this could be easily solved by just having the same grip/cushion that is on the top piece also on the bottom piece.

Even at this modest price point, this is just a useless, flimsy plastic piece of junk

for around 4 bucks, i was expecting some cheap piece of crap that would suffice to get the job done but would obviously be just some cheap piece of crap

Now its a truly useless piece of plastic, before it was most useless
