Jitterbug Flip Easy-to-Use Cell Phone for Seniors (Red) by GreatCall

    • one more time i love it ,loud ring had a dial tone just like a land line..
    • It's a nice product, one that we need, but do not let your senior parents try to activate it at all - the customer experience is frustrating, confusing, expensive, time-consuming, and just plain awful.
    • I would have bought any other dumb phone for my mom (don't like that extra-long wait time with customer service or technical support when there are problems) except I need the GPS capability for when she gets lost or when she loses her phone.
    • Time on phone exceeds 20 minutes and customer service is augmentative
    • We get crummy reception, everyone says sounds like a fishbowls husband has terrible time with it and settings are so limited
    • We owned system earlier, but one had to be within a certain area or it didn't not work; several times it didn't work or notified emergency personnel without needing.
    • She has had a terrible time with it
    • On one side of the closed phone is a small black-and-white LCD screen that, when illuminated, gives the current time, date, and whether the "5Star" emergency service is enabled
    • It took a long time to train him and sometimes he bumps the red button accidentally and someone has always answered so that is good.
    • So far most of my issues have been solved and the waiting time is reasonable.
    • The incorrect time is confusing for my elderly and challenged parents
    • GreatCall using cell phone towers for access has been very useful multiple times.
    • Then you have to press each number a few times before it registers
    • It takes a little time to do text messages, but it's worth it sometimes, when you don't want to actually make a call but just want to send a brief message.
    • Both times, difference agents, they were very friendly and professional and did not sound like they were in another country
    • I first bought a consumer cellular Envoy and the buttons and numbers were to small as well as the screen, I had a hard time finding anything on the phone
    • and it didn't work, due to my schedule didn't have time to visit a phone shop to ascertain why it wouldn't work, and when I had time, after trying again, we got a notification to call a number, when we did that, they asking me to have an account with them, which I dont need,I bought a flip phone because that's what my mum is used to,and not getting another prepay service, on checking my order window found that the return date has elapsed, now am stuck with something we dont need and wont serve our purpose.
    • I was in the wrong time
    • Well the battery doesn't last more for a day for some reason and it just doesn't give you what a regular phone would as a flip nevermind of smartphone, the biggest problem is the service half the time the phone saying not in service not in service and the service is on
    • We called Greatcall tech support again they decided to replace the phone with a new one, we have gone through 3 of this phone and each time the same problem
    • I had a terrible time getting the network carrier to release my mom's phone number
    • Know that calls to customer service always have a lengthy wait time
    • Hopefully I won't waste more time.
    • No button has to be depressed multiple times before responding at all.
    • She has fallen a few times, I like that she has a service to call for help
    • She has fallen a few times, I like that she has a service to call for help
    • Had an issue one time, customer service was great and it turned out that when I entered a phone number for her
    • The screen contains simple instructions on use, and those instructions are available every time I use it.
    • My mother in law had a hard time using it though
    • Both times we contacted customer service, they were excellent and extremely helpful
    • Otherwise, I recommend t he phone highly.
    • Who broke his I
