I was impressed when I first opened the package, these are really good quality mechanical pencils

The supplied lead is good quality and allows for a wide range of density

There are certainly higher quality pencils like the Staedtler or the all-metal rOtring, but at this price point the BL-520A pencils are more than worth the price, and are more than adequate for most users needs.
