This little practice amp is great for quiet practice

It gets the job done, and works as a great practice amp

All in all a great little practice amp for my axe when I want to play away from the big amps.

Since I use it primarily with earphones to practice without disturbing others, the less-than-adequate quality of the built-in speaker is not a issue but if you intend to use it for portable practice without earphones, you will be disappointed.

The drawback with many of the ones that run off AA batteries that that they don't have much audio power and are too quiet for useful practice.

It starts hissing as soon as you turn it on.

Just buy it with realistic expectations of what you will and won"t get.
