loud whinny bad tone, fits most guitars badly

The clean tone is whatever the tone of your guitar is...the distortion is very basic and not a strong growl

However, I bought this to replace another similar product I loved, the Mini Plug n Play, which has better tone and volume than the Joyo and is a little smaller.

This thing gives you a nice crunchy tone for practicing when do don't want to/can't lug around/can't afford a big amp

The clean tone is ok, the overdrive isn't all that great, you can't adjust anything, but that's kinda the point

Quality of speaker sound is maybe average for an instrument with good tone quality.

Just buy it with realistic expectations of what you will and won"t get.
