This has a lot of gain and is comparable to the modern drive channel of my Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 50, however most people will say that this 'distortion pedal' is 'fizzy', 'makes too much noise' and 'it's unusable, especially the boost feature' well that's the problem

gt1200 head like others have said the boost is awful unless you turn the lows up all in all I like better than my ibanez sm7 smash box that was the same price

I bought it because it had the dirty channel and a boost, should have gotten a dual channel overdrive pedal instead

And the boost, man, it's insane!!

I didn't buy this for the boost, so I'm not unhappy with the product, but if you're looking for a good boost, look somewhere else

so I doubt it would be good for a lead boost
