great deal!

This is my second set (because I wanted a backup) and even though the price went up $10 from the first purchase it is still a great deal.

I honestly couldn't find a better deal anywhere else

I will say that I noticed a great deal of improvement to the quality of sound produced with each string.

After three weeks of practice, what felt like a dud D string and a ton of scratching had set me up to play a beautiful twinkle twinkle for the first time.

these are my favorite strings and so nice that the gold label e is included.

I thought the Pirastro E string sounded beautiful and the Dominants were also great, although after a bit their sound seemed to change not in a bad way though

Dominant strings were great, at a great price-- but the Gold Label E that was shipped was NOT gold!

The Gold E string did not last too long

, the the E string broke just 2 days after it was installed.

I was very disappointed in the gold E string and finally, after trying it on several of my violins, decided it was too harsh and am not using it.

(on purpose?) that the e string may be the pirastro "gold" brand, but it's not the actual gold-colored, more expensive e string that the pros use.

This set comes with dominant A D and G strings, as well as a gold E string
