The New Xbox One is basically phasing out the kinect so we had to download the app on our phones for my daughter to play this, but it works out just fine.

The Kinect from my Xbox 360 does NOT work with it without purchasing a $60 adapter

The only complaint I have is to Microsoft regarding the Kinect

By far, everyone prefers the Kinect to the phone in hand method

For the 2018 dances, I would recommend Kinect for adults and older kids who expect to hit 5 stars on every song

I love the kinect because there's no chance of me breaking anything if something flies out of my hand

I'm guessing the Kinect is probably more accurate, but for a casual gamer and non dancer who's playing this for fun and to get up and move around, it works fine.
