    JVC HAS160W Headphones

    • I appreciate the soft ear cushions.
    • The on-ear design assures that the user isn't totally isolated from the environment (important in my case) and the sound produced is pleasing and the headphones handle everything from Doo Wop to Wagner without disappointing

    • I have some Sony's that sound amazing but pinch my ears after a couple of hours

    • I have a big head, and these hurt my ears after a while
    • They don't completely cover the ears like studio headphones so if that is a deal breaker consider that the tip of your ear may overlap

    • The ear pieces are padded so they don't hurt your ears with prolonged use
    • Despite being on-ear headphones which I am not typically enthused about, they are so light and the cup material is so
    • Ear buds hurt my ears but a lot of cheap over the ear headphones suck, well these are actually pretty good.
    • but personally I don't listen to music (unless I'm testing for review purposes) at volumes that could hurt my ears
    • The wires soldered to the right ear speaker became frayed inside the housing somehow and were intermittently shorting, causing static sounds.
    • so your entire ear is overwhelmed and consumed by the headphone, but

    • Most headphones hurt my ears quickly, but with these I can go through a movie and more without a problem.
    • I compared them to my husbands much more expensive headphones and while the sound isn't as top notch, it is much better than a pair of ear buds and much more comfortable
    • These are nice and light and don't make my ears feel pinched.
    • The cushion will help that the plastic do not hurt your ears if you wear them for long time and it also covers your ears a little tight so external sounds don't get in.

    • The headphones work fine except that the right ear piece won't stay the frame.
    • Also, the ear muffs are very small and I have small ears, but they still hurt after a little while of wear
    • While i really love the sound quality for the meager price, it still doesn't fit most around most peoples ears
    • I use the side labeled for the right ear on the opposite side and it works best for me.
    • I hate ear
    • Also, my ears are sensitive and these did not hurt the cartilage of my ears after extended use (ie
    • They actually still work but the right ear phone was not attached properly, and falls out without some good ol tape.
    • Here’s the reason I tell you this, we wear them for hours and they are lightweight and do NOT leave your ears aching or feeling like they have been covered like a lot of earphones do
    • They like them for trips instead of the uncomfortable ear buds
    • They don't hurt my ears or the side of my head near my ears.
    • They have good sound and don't hurt their ears.

    • I admit it feels a bit strange in terms of the tactile sense, but the fact that they don't CRUSH my ears or suffocate them (e.g. make them sweat) is a big pro in my book.
    • I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality, traveler-friendly alternative to ear-buds.
    • I love these things, Get pretty good ear coverage and sound it pretty good
    • Even then, one ear only stopped working because the cord got caught on something when I was walking, which made me give it a very hard yank.

    • But I can't wear these for more than an hour without my ears starting to hurt, and I like to wear headphones for hours at a time while at work, so I finally had to get rid of them even though they still functioned just fine

    • Wish they were not broken as they looked great, small not heavy or bulky and would have been comfortable to wear
    • I was going to add "for the price" but honestly, I think they sound nearly as good as my Bose QC 25, though they don't have noise cancelling, of course.
    • They would work much better in a low noise environment as, again they are not studio headphones
    • The bass doesn't sound as rich as on the expensive pair of headphones I no longer use, but it sounds much better than the cheap headphones I was using
    • I would not recommend as it is not durable for intended use.
