    JVC XL-FZ258BK 5-CD Changer (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • The error-correction algorithms are excellent---I played some badly scratched CDs that other players could not handle and could barely hear the data interpolation at the scratch points.
    • The last (and only) CD player we had would only hold one CD at a time, so this is a real improvement to have 5 CDs available for play

    • However, if you intend to burn your own audio CDs and then play the songs in a different order, this machine may have trouble, regardless of the file format you use
    • Within 2 months after my purchase the unit failed to place a CD properly into its tray and as the unit revolved the CD came completely out and jammed under a neoprene or plastic disc inside the machine and jammed the mechanism so that the tray would not open and scratching the CD beyond use.
