The price is hefty, but the cats have shelter from the adverse weather

We have made all kinds of ugly makeshift shelters for them over the years but that has always been on our back porch.

We wanted to give them a nice warm shelter from our Ohio winter, and so far this cat house has been just the ticket

The dumb heated pad, my reason for buying this, doesn't work Waste of $$

They did drag out the heat pad to sit on but not in the house

I had to get my wild kitties out of my house and they love it!

Even in cold rainy weather, the kitties were warm and snug in this.

So my kitties didn't love the teepee, but we did put the heating pad in their home and they loved that.

The only problem we had was the clear plastic door flaps

The plastic doors for it didn't work too well, but with the elastic strip made for them a bit of cloth was an easy substitute.

The clear plastic doors get stuck on the outside of the house once your cat pushes

Mine came with clear, thick plastic, removable doors that are perfect for it.

Only complaint are the doors are a bit flimsy and could be better designed.

If you do not air it out after each good rain it becomes a mold hotel

The house does get wet with hard or blowing rain, but so far has stayed nice and dry inside.
