Bought one of these and it started to leak oil at the attachment point between the nut and the oil filter after about 2 months.

After cleaning up as much oil as I could, I found the culprit - whatever method K&N is using to attach the nut to the front of the filter managed to cause a slow leak at the base of the nut

but this makes changing the oil filter a breeze!

I am 700 miles into a 2600 mile trip on my tiger 1050 and today I noticed significant oil leaking from under my bike while filling gas.

Use it on my Goldwing and only change oil twice per year so the xtra money wont break me.
