The filter fails to seal at the rubber gasket leaving it to leak out over time

Perfect for my 2001 Honda CR-VCan't really tell you how the filter is performing, but my truck runs great as always and the filter was easy to install.

I don't know the filter element but just the quality of the metal part exposed feels even worse than many third party cheap filters.

Unlike other filters (Pennzoil PZ-165 filter is also a good filter, but I noticed this using it) this filter seems to be the height of the OEM filter, so it will not twist on you when you go to screw the filter housing back on

I did do the research, and lab studies have supported my notion that this is a good filter.

I change my Oil every 5k Miles and will always be using these.(i have no way of comparing actual filtration levels compared to cheaper filters, but i watched videos of them dissecting these and the materials were excellent)

I run Castrol Syntec Edge, and the filter appears to work just fine with this oil.
