However, it did have a hard time trying to charge my Samsung S8 phone.

When first received we cranked the radio up and the charge lasted quite a long time (several hours) but when on our camping trip in the cool weather, the crank didn't work to keep the batteries charged.

Even turning the crank to charge a phone that's been at 50% power level or more, the time it took for the charge level to creep up even a little was disappointing

I have yet to try charging my cellular phone or other devices using this radio, but I presume it will be a slow (very slow) charge time for it, as it is for my solar cellular charger.
