So, while I don't know what a more expensive instrument might sound like, I do know what a cheaper one would sound like

Remember a good sounding instrument is fun to play, a bad sounding instrument gets left behind

I thought I knew I was getting a cheaper instrument

I bought it for a 3 year old baby but this is a really good instrument not a toy, but it can take the baby treatment, not the baby is 4 years old and the instrument only has a little nik, but its holding up wonderful and the kid loves it when I play

This way you know you aren't getting a defective instrument and that it will be playable

Regardless, not giving up on playing the Uke (it really is fun) and thankful I have such a great instrument that will age well (just in case I decide to go back to school again).

I went to the music store to have strap buttons put on it, and was extremely satisfied that I had bought such nice instruments online without playing it first

Otherwise... GREAT instrument, GREAT sound (With new chords), GREAT Finishes, GREAT GREAT GREAT.GET IT!

It's sturdy, looks nice, plays nice, and is a generally superb instrument.

This is a great instrument to play if your looking for something easy and fun
