I bought this ukulele for my 8 year old son and the hard case keeps it safe as he takes it to and from lessons

This case though is really super if you live in Vermont like I do

The bundle is more expensive than buying the same ukulele alone, but it is definitely worth it if you do not already have a tuner and a hard carrying case (Amazon sells a similar tuner for about $8 and a similar carrying case for $35)

The sound is great and it not only came with an inner thin case but also a well padded carrying case.

It came with a digital tuner, which alone is worth about $20, a soft and light case and another stronger case - suitable for travel, a polishing cloth and an instructional DVD, which is helpful for a beginner without being overwhelming.

The case is more durable than I had thought, and the inside is really pretty while the outside is detailed with different metal objects and a zippered pocket
