So far I'm very impressed with the quality of both the Uke itself and the hard case.

This is a GREAT set for beginnings because it comes with the soft carrying case (a must have!), an instructional DVD (will give you a few chords and basic strumming instructions), and a cleaning cloth, PLUS the tuner which you really will need!
