On a hard surface it rolls without any issues, but like some previous reviews have mentioned - on a rug you do need to be a little more gentle rolling

The stand might actually hold its adjustment while being moved on a hard surface.

They roll better on a hard surface than on the carpet.

My tower rolls fine on hard surfaces as well as the carpet and it doesn't slip off the Mobile Stand

If your rig sits on a hard surface, then not so much.
