My wall also has 24" stud centers so my options seemed somewhat limited (at least in terms of finding affordable, fully articulating mounts).

Although this made putting up the wall plate a bit easier, it was a huge pain to get arms mounted back on with the wall plate attached to the wall

I didn't need this very robust wall mount for my 40 pound TV, but it sure is firm and holds level as I extend it and turn it up to 150 degrees so that everyone in the room can see the TV from any angle

the Kanto FMX2 is a very sturdy wall mount for an 80" TV.

I chose it over other options because it has 3 rows of bolts for the wall to add extra support and accommodates an extra 10" of TV more than we have, which was hard to find
