The case itself features a clear hard plastic backing that has the words Pop, Fizz, and Clink in the inside of the back of it in gold lettering along with a mass of gold floating glitter.

If you press on the back you can indent the back of the case so to speak, as it is soft plastic and not fully hard plastic if that makes sense.

It's a little on the rubbery side and less hard plastic, which is what I prefer

There is also a soft silicone clear plastic around the sides of the case also, which will help protect my phone from accidental falls on those areas.
