This kayak rack works exactly as it should and was very easy to install.

Installation was very easy for me since I was going into sold wood, I didn't use the anchors that came with the set, but they seemed high quality as well in the event I did need them.

The hardware (screws) supplied more than allowed for a very sturdy installation.

My only suggestion to the maker would be to lengthen the top straps, because once the kayak was in the rack, I had to reach behind it to grab the female end of the strap buckle, which hangs on the wall-side and was difficult to reach once the kayak was loaded.

The hooks were large, and strong enough to support the size and weight of one of the biggest kayaks there is.

Looks like nice hooks, but did not come with hardware mentioned in the description or manual.

I hung up little hooks above the mounts to hang the straps up when taking the kayak on and off the hangers

Measure where you want them to sit on your kayaks first because you don’t want to damage your kayak by hanging them too far apart or too close together

Would recommend these hooks to anyone who wants to hang a kayak!
