I like the gel padding to support my wrist, but the actual mouse pad is

My wrist has been hurting from using a regular mouse pad, and this one with the raised wrist cushion is already helping after just a few days!

I started getting tendinitis in my hands from all-day computer use and this mouse pad has really helped support my mousing wrist

but I still brush up against it and my wrist gets sticky

I feel it needs to be softer in order to cradle the wrist while working long periods of time.

I can't stand the fabric gel as those irritate my wrist.
