It can easily change orientation and attaches to a variety of vent sizes, but certain vents (like the Mercedes X-shape vents, which are thicker than other cars) require some trial and error to get a good fit.

I added battery power and protection for my phone using a Mophie slip-on case and while it's not a perfect fit, it solved my GPS problem and the Kenu fits nicely on any of the adjustible louvers on the Outback's vents on either side of mysteering wheel.
