Coffee comes out at a nice temperature, not scalding, but the temperature coffee should really be, just hot enough.

It helps to run the machine empty with your cup once, to get both of them warmed up, that will improve the brew a bit with the more appropriate temperature, and slow down the cooling; but you may want to get a thermos that fits
