Buy this key replacement (Note, if you lost your original key, or the remote guts on the inside, this will not work for you)2

This key did not work w/ my honda.
-
i have a key already cut but my case broke
-
Why is there a fake key already
-
FYI pretty much only Honda dealers can cut these keys and they will pretty much refuse to cut a non OEM key so don't waste your money.
-
While the key itself was very inexpensive I had to drive to the other side of town to have the blade of the key cut by a Honda dealership
-
THE KEY WAS FINE
-
Take your old broken key + the USARemote replacement key up to a Ace hardware (or whatever local hardware store)3
-
Honda wanted to charge me $140.00 ($65.00 for the key, $75.00 for the labor to reprogram the key) a rip-off, considering that this cheap key was poorly designed in the first place
-
Great replacement key for my vehicle.
-
I have a workable key and need to be able to put it in a case
-
You will have to find a good locksmith to grind the key - not everyone has the right equipment
-
So, I did some research online and found this very inexpensive key
-
As a result the key was so flimsy that the plastic would break loose from the metal key part as I was driving.
-
My original key still worked fine but the plastic had cracked causing the actual key to come out of the encasement
-
This new key and casing have held up well and the key shows no signs of coming loose from the casing, which was my main concern in purchasing a blank from a source other than my dealer
