I was very uncertain about these ink cartridges because every other cartridge I've used in my Canon Pixma has a vent that needs to be uncovered before use.

So far I have used one cartridge and it works

I will update my review if the cartridges start to leak.

I was able to install them first try in my MX-870, pics show that all 5 cartridges were recognized by the printer and working as intended

Product works well as original cartridges.

The only issue I've seen is getting the cartridges into the printer.

These cartridges seem to work as well as the Canon cartridges and are a fraction of the price.

Needless to say, we returned the expensive cartridges

These work perfectly in Canon MX870.... have had trouble with aftermarket inks in Canon products in the past so had been suffering through the very overpriced OEM cartridges, but these work just the same at a fraction of the price.

I have used only the large black cartridge and it leaked on some paperwork and my carpet.

At these prices I would even put up with one bad cartridge now and then, but it hasn't happened yet

Just take the orange plastic cap off (be sure to hold cartridge right side up to avoid spills) and load.

Outside of this issue, the five cartridges seem to be working as well as the OEM versions

So before installation, go outside and shake the cartridge(s) for 30 seconds
