While this is a pretty recorder and seems to play fairly well the quality is not very good.

My Daughters sounds...somewhat better; so either she has a little more talent than those other kids (I doubt it) or this recorder is of slightly better quality than their $3 school supplied ones

Would have liked the cleaning rod to also come with the appropriate size and recomended cloth for this instrument.

The cleaning rod is a bit flimsy, but it gets the job done

The plastic case it was in had smudges and dirt, as did the recorder itself, which also had scratches.

The recorder is high quality and adorable to top it all off

and it sounds good not bad for a not expensive recorder and this redo is pretty loud too!!

First lesson how to blow the recorder without making it screech (and how to blow it without blowing fluids into it).

Very sturdy recorder and perfect for young children to start their music career.
