It does not make a good enclosure to protect the USB from pocket dirt etc.

I fouund A nice internal USB hub to facilitate the internal placement; a black rectangle with pins sticking out.

I recommend purchasing the Kingston Digital 32GB USB 2.0 Hi-speed Datatraveler Flash Drive for recovery drive back-ups and other storage needs.

Neither my tv or laptop (both USB 2.0 compatible) could playback the files I had added without lag or chopping

this is not an expensive USB drive, but just be warned that, for the 8GB version, the write speed is really just 5MB / second.

This is a very good utilitarian USB drive with the added benefits of great pricing, of classy looks, and no cap to lose

I was a little worried about the "flip" cover being loose, but it is sufficiently secure and protects the USB plug very well.

USB 2.0 speeds are incredibly fast, and the I/O is not slowed by any moving parts (like external hard drives).

New models supporting USB 3.0 are available, but their increased price is not worth the minor improvement in upload/download times for typical memory stick usage.

This is an excellent USB drive for the price.

In short, it works fine as a regular USB, but it didn't quite deliver on the capacity or extras.

but if you will be using it often I would spend a but more on a better quality USB stick.

Plus its not like the fake usb drives that are out there.
