The metal cover may act as a heat sink and help the memory stay cooler - at least that was why I chose this one and not a bare memory assembly

Better yet its some of the fastest and most stable memory modules out there by the leader in memory fabrication Kingston.

There is faster memory out there but not everyone NEEDS the "best" for what they use their computer.

Although this is a CL10 it is still great memory paired with an i3.
